Hua hin
or “Paradise City”, as the city wants to rename itself, PRACHUAP KHIRI KHAN : 281 kilometers south of Bangkok, Hua Hin, which literally means stone head in Thai, is the oldest beach of the country and is still very popular. Clean white sand, crystal clear water and a tranquil atmosphere has continued to attract tourists in search of peaceful and relaxing holidays.
Today Hua Hin is undergoing rapid expansion as Bangkokians and Westerners look this way for a second home. The charm of Hua Hin is that it still retains its fishing village serenity which is now side by side with the bustling center of a modern luxury beach resort.
The name Hua Hin actually means "head stone" or "stone head" in Thai it refers to the many rocks on the beach headland near the Sofitel Centara.
Horse riding on the sandy beach is something that perfecly matched for a nice holiday in Hua Hin. There are around the Hua hin beach about 60 horses and jockey who help you to get on the horse and guide you what to do when you are on the horse.
Weather in Hua hin : 3 seasons
- Cool Season : December to February. The daytime temperature is fairly comfortable with the maximum temperature around 25°C/78°F, the night, the weather is cooler, and can drop to near freezing in the mountains.
- Hot Season : February to May. The temperature can get up to 35°C /88°F and by May, the rain arrives.
- Rainy Season : May to November. Normally, The rain come in short bursts of in the afternoon or early evenings, and usually only last an hour.

How to get there : Air-conditioned buses depart from Bangkok's Mochit 2 Bus Terminal to Hua hin or by taxi from Bangkok it takes 2 or 3 hours.
