Ban Chang is located 18 km from Sattahip and 20 km from Rayong and approximately 45 km from Pattaya.
Ban Chang is popular for its beaches and golf and attracts tourists from far. Ban Chang is also famous thanks to a Soi, The Street of Dreams or the Ban Chang Strip. This Soi, of some 24 Bars and Pubs, is commonly referred to amongst both expats and tourists simply as Ban Chang.
It is also a popular area due to the abundance of high quality golf courses between Sattahip and Rayong.
From Bangkok you have a three hours by car toBan Chang city center.

    - Cool Season : December to February. The daytime temperature is fairly comfortable with the maximum temperature around 25°C/78°F, the night, the weather is cooler, and can drop to near freezing in the mountains.
    - Hot Season : February to May. The temperature can get up to 35°C /88°F and by May, the rain arrives.
    - Rainy Season : May to November. Normally, The rain come in short bursts of in the afternoon or early evenings, and usually only last an hour.
